ELASTI-CORE COMPETITION NYMPH LINE
Highland Rod Company brings you a competition nymphing line like no other on the market! This is the line that most competitive fly anlgers use to maximize reach and minimize sag. Ultra thin at only .022″, it is the minimum legal size used in competitions. This line was specifically designed with a stretch core in order to maximize tippet protection and fish fighting abilities.
No stretch lines are for long distance casting to fish with hard mouths. Trout have soft mouths and tight line nymphing is typically done at very short distances. The Elasti-Core was designed for tight line nymphing to trout!

The Elasti-Core nymphing line allows the use of stronger faster rods, that enable you to be quicker on the hook set, and more accurate on the cast, while also protecting fine tippets.
Textured lines allow easier grip and less sliding through the rod guides which reduces line during the drift.
